Betsy Blunsdon is Executive Director of the Australian Consortium for Social and Political Research Incorporated (ACSPRI) and Academic Surveys Australia. Previously she was an Academic at Deakin and Monash Universities where she taught organizational behaviour, organizational theory and research methods and design. Her research has focussed on understanding how significant others (family, friends, neighbours) influence lifestyle decisions; issues around sustainability and lifestyle; and understanding social and workplace trust and institutional confidence. Her publications include work on organizational flexibility; employee-management trust; work-life balance and lifestyle choice. She has specialist expertise in methodological issues in survey research and in particular, data collection issues in Australia. She brings this to the industry partner role.
